Online Level 1

The Certified Trainer Level 1 (CT-L1) training provides instruction in the principles and strategies of the game. It is the foundation course upon which the WCT curriculum is built. Participants improve their understanding of the World Chase Tag® methodology and discover basic strategies.

In this course you’ll learn about World Chase Tag‘s history and you’ll have an overview of the different WCT formats and procedures for organising competitions in community circuits. You’ll learn about Evasion Quality (EQ) and how to set-up a balanced Chasing Area with standard sports equipment (wooden box, gymnastic plinth, elastics, ropes, bars, …) as well as how to create safe and engaging classes  for all WCT enthusiasts. Lastly, you’ll get a better understanding of the business structure and different levels of membership in WCT.

The course is currently only available in English.

Level 1 is the prerequisite to obtain an SLA (Standard Licence Agreement) and offer Chase Tag™ courses and events.

Following this course, the coach is entitled to:

• Offer WCT group or private lessons from beginner to intermediate level,
• Act as a local relay for the organisation of community events,

You also receives updates on official events, regulations and statistics related to the number of licensees or safety elements (risk factors, injury statistics, …).

The WCT CT-L1 training does not give the right to a professional sports educator card in France. It is therefore necessary to complete the training with a state diploma such as a BPJEPS, CQP, DEUST or Licence STAPS with equivalence.
