The first step in the affiliation process is to fill out an application and provide all the necessary informations. The other informal step is to educate yourself and become a part of the community. This can happen in many ways. Start training and post your results with #worldchasetag or #dontgetcaught and visit other licensees.
The License allows you to legally use the World Chase Tag® or Chase Tag® trademarks, and offer WCT training at one physical location. We’ll help you market your gym by placing it on our Gym Finder Map and communication on all social medias.
As a licensee, you also get priority access to competition tickets, entry into the license holder lounge at the competitions, and prioritised support from our Legal Team. Your venue will also be considered for features on our social media pages if you send us photos.
World Chase Tag® Training Certificate
We require an applicant to be at least a Level 1 Certificate holder before applying for affiliation. We offer Level 1 Certificate Courses Online throughout the year. The level of certification you should go for depends on whether you’ll operate on an official Quad™ or not. Venues that will not have a Quad™ work under a Standard License Agreement (SLA) and only need the Level 1 certification for their coaches. Venues that have (or will have a Quad™) require an Official License Agreement (OLA) and a WCT Level 2 Certification.
Cost
As of Jan 1, 2023, affiliation costs US $1,200 annually for the Official License Agreement (OLA) and US $ 120 for the Standard License Agreement (SLA).

The license agreement is dependent on whether or not you purchase a Quad™. Any venue or licensee operating with an official Quad™ must get an Official License Agreement (OLA) as well as a level 2 certification for the coaches. Venues or licensees operating without an official Quad™ (ie. in parks, youth clubs, gyms, …) must get a Standard License Agreement (SLA) as well as a level 1 certification for the coaches.
Yes. You are licensing the World Chase Tag name and making it legal to use that name. Whether you’re making a profit or not, we still require a license.
Yes, we do not limit the number of licensees in any given area.
No. Only World Chase Tag LLC and its partners can provide a certification to coaches. Visit Education for more info.
Anyone coaching a World Chase Tag class must hold a current WCT Certification. Level 2 certification is mandatory to work on the official Quad™.
We love that licensees hold competitions and would like to do everything we can to encourage such events. When planning your competition, please keep in mind these simple rules:
– Please avoid the use of the World Chase Tag in conjunction with any country’s name or area with >1M inhabitants. It is also forbidden to use the regular naming of official events : WCTnumber (ie. WCT6 in 2023). Last, the “Flight Club” events are only permitted on certain conditions, to be seen with WCTLLC beforehand. The reasoning behind this is to avoid confusion for fans and viewers between official events (giving a national, continental or worlds title) and unofficial ones.
– Run a great event, have fun, and send us photos so we can share your good times with the community.
The Standard and Official License Agreements are the main Licenses for any Gym or Company operating under the WCT® brand. There is one more plan called the Broadcast License Agreement to organise national championships and/or television broadcasting. This contract must be discussed and constructed jointly with WCT LLC. Please contact us for further information.
