6 teams were competing on the Quad™ at Parkour59 to try to win a spot at “WCT6 France”: the first French World Chase Tag® Championship.
Athletes from Paris, Evry, Lyon, Roubaix and Dunkerque, first competed in a round robin before moving on to the knock-out part of the competition. A thrilling competition that spectators from the Lille area were able to attend.
This first qualification is marked by the victory of No Joke. A team from Roubaix training with the vice World Champions, Parkour59. Playing at home, in front of their audience, they showed great agility, speed and commitment. Winning the event they gained their spot for WCT6 France in which they’ll face other pre-qualified teams : Blacklist, KIMEO, Urban Corp and of course Parkour59.
This podium allows them to obtain a place for the next WCT6 France championship which will take place this summer. They will then be able to compete against the best French teams for a place in the EMEA championship (Europe/Middle East/Africa).
The Crow from Evry and Blast from Carré Sénart also showed impressive commitment and finished respectively 2nd and 3rd. All the teams will have other chances for qualification through the next 2 stages in Lyon (7th of May) & Tours (20th of May).
